여경섭 (대한민국)

한국과 독일에서 작업하는 여경섭은 2004년 베를린 종합예술대학교를 졸업하고 2005년 베를린 종합예술대학교에서 마이스터를 취득했다. 그는 스페인 팔마(2004), 독일 베를린(2005, 2010, 2012, 2015), 서울(2010, 2011, 2018), 대전(2008, 2009, 2011, 2016, 2017) 그리고 공주(2006)에서 개인전을 했다. 2016년부터 개인전과 그룹전을 통해 사진, 조각, 설치, 회화, 비디오와 드로잉 등의 방법으로 ‘증식’과 ‘이주’ 라는 주제를 다루고 있다. 여경섭은 2008년 독일에서 디프링 상을 수여받았다. 여경섭은 현재 목원대학교 미술교육과 교수로 재직하고 있다.

YUE Kyoeng Sub (ROK)

Kyoeng Sub Yue shares his creative time between South Korea and Germany. Yue studied at the Berlin University of Arts in 2004 and earned a Master Student degree from the same university in 2005. He presented solo exhibitions in Palma (2004), Berlin (2005, 2010, 2012, 2015), Seoul (2010, 2011, 2018), Daejeon (2008, 2009, 2011, 2016, 2017), and Gongju (2006), South Korea. Since 2016, he has been dealing with the subject matter ‘proliferation’ and ‘migration’ in a range of media including photography, sculpture, installation, painting, video and drawing. Yue was awarded the 2008 Diffring Prize in Germany. He currently serves as a professor in Fine Arts at the College of Education, Mokwon University, in Daejeon, South Korea.
