양센 (중화인민공화국)

양센은 1973년 중국 북경에서 태어났고 1996년 중앙아카데미에서 미술학사를 수여받았다.

작가는 2008년 개인전 <고통의 느낌이 없는 세계>를 북경에서 발표했다. 그는 2016년 제3회 난징 국제아트 페스티벌 <희귀성과 공급>; 2009년 북경에서 <녹색> 그룹전; 2006년 이테리와 프랑스에서 <마이마오> 그룹전에 참가했다. 2012년 중국 상해에서 양센은 존 모어 회화상을 수상했다.

양센의 작업은 작가로서의 개인적인 특징과 중국 오늘의 시대상을 날카롭게 제시한다. 그의 화면은 상상과 열정으로 충만해 있다. 풍경과 인물화 가려지지 않은 감정의 감각을 불러일으킨다. 그는 전통적인 유화기법을 형식화 된 만화 기법과 접목한다. 그의 작업은 현실 세계를 의미하고 그의 꿈과 기억 속에 있는 사회적 삶의 기록이다.

Born in Beijing, China,1973. Earned B. F. A. from Central Academy of Fine Art in 1996.

Shen Yang presented a solo exhibition, The World Without Feeling of Pain in Beijing in 2008. He participated in group exhibitions Scarcity & Supply, The 3rd Nanjing International Art Festival in 2016; Green in Beijing in 2009; Maimao in Italy and France in 2006. He was awarded John Moore painting prize in Shanghai, China in 2012.

Shen Yang’s works sharply show personal marks of the artist and characteristics of the time in China. His paintings are full of imagination and passion. Both landscape and figure in his paintings evoke uncanny sense of feeling. He uses traditional oil painting techniques in combination with stylized cartoon techniques. His work implies the real world, and is a record of social life in his memories and dreams.
