쉬로 니키 (미합중국)

니키 쉬로는 뉴욕에서 태어나고 활동하는 작가이다. 그의 미술 학업은 쿠퍼 유니언 컬리지의 토요미술학교 (1997), 헌터 컬리지 미술학사 (2002), 동대학 미술 석사 (2006) 등을 포함한다. 작가는 미국 내/외 갤러리와 미술관, 비영리 공간에서 역동적으로 작품을 발표했다. 2016년 11월 쉬로는 제3회 난징 국제예술 페스티벌에 외국 작가로 선정되었고, 같은해 1월에는 사천성에 있는 에메이 현대미술관에서 주최하는 제1회 국제비엔날레에 초청되어 작품을 발표했다. 쉬로는 2011년 북경 레드 게이트 갤러리 초청으로 입주 프로그램에 참가했고 2010년에는 청두의 하이렌드 레지던시에 초청 성공적으로 참여했다.

Nikki SCHIRO (USA)

Nikki Schiro is a native New York artist. Her studies in art include an M.F.A. (2006) and B.F.A. (2002) from Hunter College, NY, as well as the Saturday Outreach Program (1997) at Cooper Union College for the Advancement of Fine Art. Schiro has exhibited extensively in galleries, museums, non-profit and alternative spaces, home and abroad. Schiro has been selected as a foreign exhibitor for the Third Nanjing International Arts Festival in November 2016, an exhibit that focuses on the effects of globalization. In January 2016 Schiro was one of two Americans selected to exhibit in the Inaugural International Invitational Biennale of Emei MOCA (LeShan, Sichuan Province). Schiro was invited to live and work for several months in China via the Red Gate Residency (Beijing, 2011) and Highland Residency (Chengdu, 2010), each latent with remarkable achievement.
