홍성광 (조선민주주의인민공화국)

홍성광은 티벳을 여행하던 중에 이 초상화를 제작했다. 이 화면은 인류 전체와 타인을 진정으로 사랑하는 인간애를 느끼게 한다. 평화를 건립하고 유지하는 근본적인 조건 중에 하나는 타인을 있는 그대로 존중하는 것이다. 이 평화조건의 메시지는 종이에 흡수되는 동양의 전통 먹을 재해석하는 화면에 깊게 배어있다.

Song Gwang Hong traveled Tibet and made this portrait on his journey. The painting manifests a genuinely humane love toward others and the humanity in general. One of the fundamental conditions of building and maintaining peace is the acceptance of others as they are. This message extraordinarily permeates through the painting that reinterprets the Asian traditional ink medium.
