한경보 (조선민주주의인민공화국)

1945 년 평남 태생. 평양미대 교수로 활동. 속사 (연필 스케치) 화가로 유명. 조선화의 전통적인 외모를 흑연으로 구사하는 예술세계를 구축하여 연필화의 창조적 경지를 개척. 2천여점의 그림이 <혁명전적지 및 사적지 속사집>이 6권으로 출간. 그외 총 15권에 달하는 소묘집, 연필화집 출판. 공훈예술가.

HAN Kyung Bo (DPRK)

Born in South Pyongyang Province in 1945, Han Kyung Bo served as a professor at Pyongyang Fine Art University. He is known as the master of graphite art. He discovered ways of using graphite to make art that looks like a traditional ink painting, expanding the creative possibilities of graphite medium. About 2,000 works of his were published in Battle Field of Revolution and Historical Places that is composed of six volumes. A Merited Artist, Han published a total of 15 volumes about graphite art.
