Faure set up a photo booth in a restaurant in Chelsea, NY. He asked people for taking their self-portraits. He then combined the self-portraits to make this photographic work. It excellently counterbalances to Hong’s portrait painting, which depicts an individual Tibetan person, and will provoke the viewers to contemplate the relationship of “one and many” when placed alongside Hong’s portrait.
